Exactly 3 days back when I started to write blogs I never thought it would be so useful for me. I grasp multiple pieces of knowledge every time I begin to write but today we have something extraordinary. We all have watched Marvel movies when Nick Fury shows a hologram of a map where the next mission is and then the Avengers follow it? This is exactly what Lenovo did.
Lenovo Thinkbook releases the world's first transparent laptop. It is as exciting as it sounds, and as horrifying as it gets as it shouts in our face - we are near dead end! But let's not fill this article with the emotions and let's get straight to this extraordinary Sci-Fi laptop!
The concept is straightforward. A super thin futuristic transparent 17.3-inch micro-LED display with brightness ranging from 1,000 nits to 3,000 nits. The screen is 55% transparent, meaning we can see beyond that!
This experiment was done to majorly support the work of digital artists and other similar niche people. This of course doesn't suit every task or application but who is talking about that?
"Lenovo is busy creating headlines that they have created the world's first transparent laptop!"
And it's true! I don't care what kind of people are going to use it - I'm just happy to be alive to see this kind of tech innovation.
With the keyboard being without the actual keys - it's actually a touchscreen, just like how we browse through our mobile, listen to music, and do our work. In the future, we assume we will be seeing a Lenovo laptop that is a touchscreen on both sides - making it much like the Thinkpad with a webcam on top of it (inside of the transparent screen - which is not in the current version at least).
They call it an "idea" and decided to not release it anytime soon - maybe not even in the future! But we would love to see it online in stores with some pieces available in retail. Of course that'll cost us a lot to afford but you never know - when this innovation will give another iPhone moment for the whole nation.
