Pakistan is going to the moon!

Pakistan's moon mission. We know most people think that everyone nowadays is going to the moon what's the big deal here? Hold on for a moment, and you will understand this.

The world's first moon mission was done by Neil Armstrong for the U.S. in 1969. 39 years later India did it in Chandrayan-1 in 2008 and now almost 16 years later - or we can say nearly 60 years later it's Pakistan doing it.

This story was confirmed when Business Today published it. They called it -

"60 years behind: Pakistan to launch its first moon mission with a device smaller than your computer only to click picture of lunar surface."

Despite the Business Times saying "60 years behind", 3rd May 2024 will be a date remembered in the history of Pakistan.

They are using Suparco iCube-Q - the name given to the satellite made possible by their collaboration with China's Shanghai University (SJTU). It carries two optical cameras designed especially to capture images of the Moon's surface, collect images

With the support of France - the European Space Agency (ESA) carries a payload for Pakistan's round trip.

But all these funds are raised? And why the Pakistan is not capable of launching a moon mission with a fully-fledged rocket?

Well, the simple answer is the economic challenges in Pakistan. They have lessened their load by choosing just a device that is smaller than a computer. Also, as they have no satellite above the ground, sending a rocket sounds a complete nonsense - at least right now.

In fact, the mission is also not launching from the country Pakistan, the device will be shot into the atmosphere from Hainan province in China with preparations to collect samples from the moon's surface.

As per the information over the internet, we got a source that the "Pakistan's moon device" will be launching at 12:50 pm (Indian Standard Time) on 3 May 2024 - as we said earlier.
